Finnish Sports Arbitration Board
The Finnish Sports Arbitration Board is a body of appeal independent of sports organisations which, among other things, handles decisions made according to the Finnish Antidoping Code, approved by FINADA, on the basis of appeals. Within its competence, the Board also functions as a court of arbitration if an appellant and the organisation whose decision the appeal is related to so agree or the appealing ahtlete so demands.
The Finnish Sports Arbitration Board was established in 1991.
The appellant may be an athlete, another natural person or entity whose right or benefit is influenced by the subject matter of the appeal.
